This is another very detailed, we thought out post. Do you think that you're saying something about females by not having them feature in the opening of your film? Is it acceptable to have a film with no females at all?
We aren't saying its acceptable to have no females on the film,it is just that the film would be too generic if it did. In the sense that the female would most likely play the role of a damsel in distress and act as maybe a femme fatale instead of a leading/prominent role. Therefore, by not including a female on out thriller, it would divert the film away from typical conventions of a thriller film giving it more edge and diversity from the established genre.
